Are you looking for a fancy piece of nostalgia to place in a special spot in your home? Well, then you will LOVE this very decorative antique Kimball pump organ!
We're guessing it was built around the turn of the century (1900, that is)....making it roughly 115ish years old. A person can only imagine where all this organ could have been and who may have played on it. Maybe it was in a big, limestone farmhouse and played at some farmer's daughter's wedding. Maybe it was the main entertainment in a home prior to TV and radio....yep, it certainly is that old!
Check out the photos and you'll see a cute little cubby hole where some little girl may have kept her favorite treasures...an arrowhead she found on the way home from school, her first empty bottle of perfume, a hairband her grandma gave her...hmmmm. She may have stood on her toes, looking in the mirror on the organ, wondering if she'd look like her momma when she grew up.
There is even an "Easy Method for the Parlor Organ" book that will teach you how to play this pump organ the way it was meant to be played! It might be worth as much as the organ??
Anyway, we think this instrument is unique and quite special. Stop by our showroom soon and see if you agree.
