Here is a “like new” Charles R. Walter studio piano in a beautiful walnut cabinet. According to the Charles Walter website, this 45” tall studio piano has longer bass strings than most 50” to 52” pianos like Yamaha and Kawai. That would explain why this piano has a tremendous tone quality!
Built right here in the U.S.A. (in Indiana), these pianos are hand crafted out of only the finest materials…mostly from America and Germany. The actions are either Renner (like you find in the famous Hamburg Steinway grands) or built by Walter, and designed to give you generations of reliability.
The heavy duty reinforced hammers on this piano have hardly any wear, the close-grained spruce soundboard is perfect, the pinblock has an impressive 29 ply, the piano features 2” double rubber wheels, the pedals are solid brass (not plated), there is a locking key cover, the duet size bench is solid, the strings and pins shine like new, and this piano is simply built like a tank and ready to give you years and years of good music!!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact Charles Walter pianos are built so well, most folks who buy them plan on never getting rid of them. Consequently, you will rarely find them used. We were able to acquire this pristine piano on a recent road trip from a party who reluctantly needed to sell it. This is an unique opportunity, so don’t hesitate….this piano won’t stay in our showroom long!
