2006 LIKE NEW Yamaha U1 professional upright

This late model (2006) Yamaha U1 is a wonderful instrument and ready to find its new home. 

If you desire a powerful sound and an expressive action, you will be delighted with this piano! It sounds as good as many baby grands and has a touch that allows you a full latitude of dynamic range.

The polished ebony cabinet is in beautiful condition and you even have the benefit of a "soft close" fallboard.....meaning the keycover won't slam down on little fingers (it has a nifty little gadget that allows the cover to gently descend). 

By the way, you can check the serial number (6164228) on Yamaha's site and confirm this is a piano that was made for the US market. An overwhelming majority of used U1 and U3 Yamahas come from the Japanese market. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but (if you ask a Yamaha dealer)....you really need to make sure your piano is "seasoned for the US". This piano is made for the US, for whatever that extra peace of mind is worth.
