1977 Baldwin model 226R grand, American walnut - Grand Pianos

Made in the USA of American walnut by Baldwin.  5'8" of beauty and wonderful tone.

This is a gorgeous piano with a warm brown cabinet that will make a statement wherever it resides. Please look at the photos. The King Louis XV styling sets this piano apart from the majority of other "straight-lined" pianos. The rear tail of the cabinet has stunning "bookend" veneer that really draws your attention. The music rack has matching carving, as well as the duet bench.

Once you sit down and start playing this beauty, you will understand that this isn't only a fine piece of furniture.....it is just as fine of an instrument! It has a well-rounded, singing tone and the keys are not too light or too heavy. Quite a comfortable mix.

Although this piano has a few years on her, she is still in excellent condition! When Baldwin was still building pianos in the USA, the model 226 listed for OVER $70,000. You can have your very own, stunning work of art and world-class instrument for a smidgen of that.

Visit us today you'll see why folks from all across the U.S.A. (and beyond) get there pianos right here in Manhattan, Kansas. We have one of the finest collections of quality, affordable pianos anywhere.

"This is one of the best piano stores I have ever visited. As a pianist and teacher, having selected Steinway pianos for many students and teachers, I was amazed at the superb Steinway M that I bought for someone a couple of months ago. The service and sales personnel were excellent."
