Here is one fine Steinway (with a beautiful set of ivory keys)! This 1933 model M has just been completely restored from top to bottom. Everything has been done to bring this piano to primo condition.
The restoration includes new bass & treble strings, new pins and pinblock, new Renner shanks and flanges, new Abel hammers, new front and back key bushings, and new dampers.
The cabinet is refinished in the traditional lacquer, satin ebony finish. All of the brass hardware has been polished and shines like new. The cast iron plate has been refinished and detailed and a new Steinway fallboard decal has been applied.
But wait, there's more!
The original spruce soundboard is in perfect condition and has excellent crown. It is very rare to see a 77 year old soundboard without a single crack! You can TRY to replicate the beautiful tone of a 77 year old piece of wood (good luck)...or you can simply get a 77 year old Steinway with a perfect, original soundboard. Just like the spruce in an old Martin guitar or Stradivarius violin, it only gets better with age!
You will absolutely LOVE how this Steinway plays, how it sounds, and how it looks. It is one all around, wonderful heirloom quality piano!
