Baldwin built the Hamilton studio piano right here in the USA for decades and it was one of the most prominent instruments you'd find in churches and schools. They were a true workhorse. Built for longevity and reliability....not necessarily for frill and style.
There is no music rack to snap off (like on console pianos). The legs have braces and double rubber casters, making the piano simple to move. The solid spruce soundboard cranks out a lot of sound for this size of piano. If you were blindfolded and played this piano (and then a baby grand), you could get confused as to which was which. It really has a quality tone.
Given this piano has spent its life thus far in homes, it is reasonable to expect another 40 to 50 years of service out of this instrument. We are confident in its construction and believe you will agree that it is a great piano for the money!
