Built in 1997, this 44" tall Yamaha console piano is a very fine acoustic instrument. It has a large, solid spruce soundboard and long strings...giving it everything needed to provide a full sound in your home or studio. Both the inside and outside are in beautiful condition and it shows hardly any wear whatsoever. The hammers are barely worn, the strings shine like new, the brass hardware still has high lustre....it's really nice! The dark mahogany cabinet is tastefully appointed, yet not overdone.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!! Should you choose to play the piano in the middle of the night, or while someone is sleeping (or watching TV), you simply turn on the SILENT FEATURE, put on your headphones, and you are now enjoying music inside of headphones! You can even plug in other MIDI devices and access other sounds.
Another bonus is this. The digital part of the piano is always in tune. So, during that time of the year when the piano tuner is booked solid and can't get out to tune your piano quite as fast as you'd like....just plug in the headphones and your piano sounds terrific!
