1940 Burled walnut Knabe console piano

LOOK at this beautiful, burled walnut Knabe console piano!! The wood on this instrument is stunning! Built in 1940, it is obvious there was much attention to detail, and plenty of love and craftsmanship that went into the construction of this fine piano.

The keytops are original and extremely nice. The solid spruce soundboard gives this piano an amazingly warm and captivating tone and is simply a joy to play! 

The lines evoke an art deco style....or is it mid-century modern? We'll let you be the judge. Check out the burled walnut with the matched, "bookend" pattern above the pedals and on the fallboard. There is so much detail on the cabinet!

You will appreciate the fact that the piano still has the matching bench. It has been reupholstered at some point in a plaid pattern.....and is easy to change to fit in with the decor in your home.
