1898 Steinway Model A Grand Piano

With the finesse & elegance of a high class ballroom piano, this is also a very solidly-constructed instrument . Much restoration work was completed in the mid 1980's, including a new finish, new strings & pins, and the plate was refinished and detailed. The original soundboard was preserved to retain the rich Steinway tone. In the past couple of weeks we have had a brand new set of Renner (Hamburg Steinway) hammers, shanks, flanges and whippens installed. The hammers were then voiced and the action meticulously regulated. This quality piano features a beautiful set of ivory keys and includes the original Steinway "practice" chair with the Steinway logo on the backside.
