Sell Your Piano

Mid-America Piano has earned a reputation for having the best variety of clean, previously-loved, "low mileage" pianos in the Midwest. If you need to sell a piano, we want to hear from you!

  • We are always looking for quality used instruments to replenish our stock. Our primary interest is in "late model" pianos (25 years old or newer) in nice condition. In the interest of providing our future customers with pianos they will love, we do not purchase pianos that have been in homes with strong odors (smoking, pets, etc).

  • We do accept trade-ins, have nationwide pickup available, and will pay top dollar for quality used grand, spinet, console and studio pianos. PLEASE NOTE: As we typically receive more 30+ year old pianos on trade as we can find homes for, we don't actively purchase these outright. Also, we don't purchase old upright pianos or square grands. Sorry.

  • If you or anyone you know is interested in selling a piano, please complete the form below. We will notify you soon if your piano is one we are interested in.

All Brands Considered:

Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai, Baldwin, Mason & Hamlin, Bosendorfer, Bechstein, Bluthner, Schimmel, Seiler, Knabe, Kimball, Petrof, Wurlitzer, and Others!

"Mid-America Piano had 10-12 pianos in the style I was interested in! No other dealer had that many samples on the floor to be played the same day. It really made the difference for me."
