The piano has a mute rail so you can play quietly when the kids are zonked out late at night. The keycover (fallboard) and music rack are independent of each other, which is VERY nice! You don't have that goofy little "flip down" music holder to hold your music like you find on 95% of your professional uprights. Also, this fallboard has the slow close feature, so your kids won't smash their fingers. The lid and fallboard are also lockable so you can keep the neighbor's roudy kids from destroying your piano.
