This Yamaha M500 Chippendale console piano is the very first one of these we have ever found used....and it is quite the piano!! Featuring the fancy ball-and-claw legs on both the front legs and bench, as well as some of the most beautiful "bookend" woodgrain on the music rack, this dark mahogany piano exudes an elegant flair.
This piano was manufactured in Thomaston, Georgia, USA in 2003 and (in piano years) is still a baby. An instrument of this quality is designed to last for 80 to 100 years, so it should provide your home with beautiful music for another 60 to 80 years!
Speaking of beautiful music, the spruce soundboard on this piano has a good amount of acreage and is capable of producing as much sound as many baby grands. The touch has the typical Yamaha "not too heavy, not too light" feel that musicians (such as myself) love to play! Just the right amount of weight to be expressive, yet not so much that you get worn out while playing.
This is truly an heirloom quality piano and worthy of your serious consideration. Don't ponder too long, though, or it will have already found another home.
Be the early bird.
