Check out this ridiculously nice 5'8" Yamaha grand piano in the sleek polished ebony finish. Although this instrument was built in 1978, it looks, sounds and plays GREAT! It is sitting next to a 2000 Yamaha C2 (same size)....and it is very difficult to tell them apart. They could be twins.
This is a "Seasoned for Destination" (made for the U.S. market) Yamaha G2. There are quite a few used Yamaha grands on the market, but many of them were seasoned and built for the Asian climate. Yamaha Corp of America does not supply replacement parts for those pianos. If you Google "Yamaha piano serial number", you can verify this piano was originally manufactured for use here in the United States. You can see the serial number (2690035) in one of the photos.
Due to the fact the previous owner loved to play the piano, it needed a new set of hammers. We ordered and installed a brand new set of hammers (with new flanges, knuckles, and shanks) from Yamaha. Now this beauty is upgraded and ready to be enjoyed for another 40 to 60 years! It has a duet bench, the soundboard is perfect, the cabinet is near-flawless for its age (which is pretty rare), and the tone is wonderful....it really sings!
Get this. The most-similar 5'8" Yamaha currently carries a list price of nearly $60,000. This is not a misprint. We are offering this absolutely wonderful instrument for a nominal investment of $9988! If you like great deals, this piano is for you. It looks all kinds of snazzy and will POP in your home, church, school or music studio.
Please give us a jingle today at 785-537-3774 and we'll give you a great big reason to smile! We look forward to hearing from you soon.
