This hard-to-find, satin ebony Yamaha C2 Conservatory grand is immaculate. Manufactured by Yamaha in 2003 and seasoned for the United States market, this piano is everything you want in a high quality instrument!
If you prefer the traditional, satin ebony finish (like what a vintage Steinway would have), then this piano might just be the perfect one for you! The cabinet is a bit "softer" than the high polished ebony finish, and blends in better with many decors; whereas the high polished ebony makes a bold, striking statement.
Hundreds and hundreds of "gray market", polished ebony Yamaha pianos are available on the internet and that is all many dealers have to offer. If you are curious what Yamaha has to say about gray market pianos, you might want to visit their site here: https://hub.yamaha.com/four-things-you-need-to-know-about-gray-market-pianos/ Needless to say, this piano (along with 95% of the used Yamaha pianos we offer) have been painstakingly sought out by us for our customers. We do, occasionally, get a gray market piano in on trade. When this occurs, the price is adjusted downward accordingly.
Curiously enough, our "Seasoned for Destination" Yamaha pianos are often newer than many of our competitors' gray market pianos.....and frequently less expensive. We haven't earned our reputation for supplying many of the highest quality used pianos in the country by "sitting on our hands". We work diligently and painstakingly to find the sheer number of late model pianos we offer....by Yamaha, Kawai and more.
This instrument has a beautiful, clear tone. You don't get buried in a bunch of garbled overtones that muddy up the sound. Just clear and clean music to enjoy on this piano. You will appreciate the light and carefree action as you glide across the keys, playing your favorite pieces. There's no need to pump iron before you practice. This isn't a stiff or heavy action.
There really isn't anything NOT to like about this piano. It looks, sounds and plays great.....and check out what we are offering it for (well under half of what you'll pay for a new Yamaha of the same size).
