1941 Steinway Model D concert grand

WHAT A PIANO! This 1941 Steinway D concert grand was restored about 20 years ago and is one magnificent instrument! We acquired it from a home where it has received regular tunings and impeccable care. The action was re-weighted so it isn't so monstrously heavy, like many big grands. It has a smooth touch and plays freely and responsively. The tone is full, lush and powerful.....mmmmmmm.

The restoration included a new finish, new pinblock, new pins and strings; new action (hammers, wippens, shanks, flanges, backchecks, dampers, etc); new keytops and new heavy duty double brass casters. This is an instrument worthy of any stage. 

There simply aren't many pianos of this caliber....especially for such a modest investment! When you consider a new Steinway D lists for upwards of $180 THOUSAND, you will understand what a superb investment this world-class instrument is (for less than 1/3 the cost).
