1996 Yamaha M500 Florentine console piano

This is a very clean Yamaha M500 Florentine console piano in a warm oak cabinet. Built right here in the USA (Thomaston, Georgia) in 1996, there hasn't been a whole lot of use on this instrument.

The action is flawless, the spruce soundboard is perfect, the keys are nice and white, we shined up the brass, the bench is sturdy, we tuned it up.....and it's ready for you to enjoy!

When you sit down at this piano, the action is not too heavy, not too light...just right! Mama bear would be happy. The piano stands 44" tall (which is about as tall of a console piano as you'll find). This is a good thing, because it gives you more soundboard and longer strings, which produces a larger and warmer tone.

A new Yamaha console lists for over $8000....and they aren't built in the USA anymore. Either China or Indonesia. Many piano techs agree the American-made Yamaha pianos were of a higher quality than the ones built today.
