1907 Ivers and Pond Princess Grand

Do you have a princess in your home who needs a piano? Well, this is a PRINCESS GRAND! Haven't seen one before, but it is cast directly into the iron plate...."Princess Grand". 

Built by Ivers & Pond a few years back in 1907, this piano has a whole lot of style and character to it! Please check the pics. The legs are round and tapered with brass ferrules at the bottom and all kinds of carving on top. The music rack has five small spindles on each side and a variety of carving. The pedal assembly is unique, too! The solid brass pedals aren't your typical style. The style (of the pedals themselves) is much more curved and rounded and the lyre has incredible detail to it.

You will notice the original set of keytops (like they used back in the early 1900's) are in very good condition.

The piano was rebuilt at some point in its life.....maybe 40 years ago? It plays well and has a happy sound. Quite an instrument for such a modest price!
