1991 Yamaha U5C Limited Edition piano

This ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Yamaha U5C Limited Edition piano was designed and built to celebrate Yamaha's 100th Anniversary. 

You will notice the colorful, floral marquetry on the music rack as well as the "checkered" pattern on each end of the cabinet. There is deep, burled wood behind the florals that further accents the uniqueness of this masterpiece. 

The keycover (fallboard) has a "slow-close" feature that keeps the cover from slamming down when it is closing. The (BIG) music rack is completely independent from the keycover and pulls out to keep your music at the ideal angle. You very rarely find this feature except for the highest-end models of Japanese pianos. 

The string length and spruce soundboard surface area are similar to that of a baby grand piano, producing a tone that is full and rich. The touch is unmistakably Yamaha (smooth, responsive, and a thrill to play)!
