1994 Yamaha MP100 professional upright piano with SILENT feature

HERE IS YOUR PIANO!

It is BOTH acoustic and digital....so you can enjoy a high-quality piano with real strings OR "flip a switch" and play the piano silently (to everyone around you) while listening to a 9' concert grand piano inside your headphones! The Silent Feature on this piano makes it a very versatile instrument!

Based on the famous Yamaha U1 professional upright, this Yamaha MP100 measures 48" tall, providing sufficient soundboard area and string length to produce a full and powerful tone. As is typical with Yamaha pianos, the action is super smooth and easy to play, allowing you the freedom to bring out boisterous passages, or caress the keys and float through sentimental melodies. Whatever your mood, this piano will make you want to give a big fist pump and let out a "YES"!!!

We picked up this piano from the original owner recently and it has been in the same corner of their living room since brand new. It has not been abused or beaten to death.....and is exceptionally clean. Built in 1994, you should expect another easy 50+ years of good music from this piano. We currently have several pianos well over 100 years old in our showroom that still play very well, so another 70 to 90 years is not out of the question if you continue to give this one good care.

Looping back to the Silent Feature....this really turns this piano into a useful instrument! When everybody is sound asleep at night and you are finally getting the opportunity to "wind down" and chill a bit, all you have to do is push the middle pedal down and to the left, engaging the Silent Feature. Put on your headphones and you will hear a 9' concert grand that never goes out of tune! This is also a huge bonus if you don't have many piano tuners in your area!

If you are wanting a professional-grade piano that will last for generations, this is a great choice. For comparison, a new Yamaha U1 (without the Silent Feature), lists for right at $12,000. The Silent Feature adds over $2000 to the package....so $14,000 is not an unrealistic price if you were to a similar piano new. HOWEVER, when you shop at Mid-America Piano in Manhattan and take advantage of our low overhead, you can enjoy this absolutely "LIKE NEW" piano for only $6988!
